Lash Extension Aftercare: How to Make Your Lashes Last

You just got the lashes of your dream—this is how you keep them looking full, fluffy, and lasting for as long as possible.

The First 24 Hours (Most Important)

• Avoid steam, sweat, and hot showers

• You CAN get them wet, in fact I encourage washing them that night.

• Skip eye makeup and creams around the eyes

• Avoid touching or brushing them excessively.

Daily Care (Your New Routine)

• Clean them daily with a gentle, oil-free lash cleanser to prevent buildup

• Brush them lightly with a clean spoolie to keep them fluffy and separated

• Pat dry—no rubbing or tugging

Clean lashes = better retention and healthier natural lashes.

What to Avoid

• Oil-based products near the eyes (they break down the adhesive)

• Waterproof mascara or eyeliner

• Picking, pulling, or twisting your lashes

• Sleeping face-down or pressing your lashes into your pillow

Makeup Tips

• Use oil-free makeup around the eyes

• Apply eyeliner lightly (avoid the lash line if possible)
